Went to pull a part an found a tranny tuner in a 98 c3500 dually an I was wondering if it is worth installing. I have a 97 k1500 supposedly rebuild tranny from previous owner. I don’t tow, I don’t race just trying to help the tranny shift better an easier. I posted it on the GMT400 Facebook group an got yes an no opinions.

What are y’all a opinion.

Looks like an expensive version of the resistor shift mod. I wouldn't mess with it personally.

Agreed. It boosts line pressure, with some degree of selectability. IMO these transmissions are marginal enough on their own that they don't need any help to self-destruct. Baby the thing along, service the filter every now and then, and don't expect miracles out of a transmission that never should have been used in a full size truck. That little tap-in gizmo isn't gonna help it.

I didn't really want to go there because I feel like I've been bashing 4L60Es up and down here lately, but yeah. I agree 100%.
