Alright I’ve been here long enough and scrolled through enough build threads to start my own to look back on. Here’s what I’m working with. It’s a 1992 Chevy K1500 single cab long bed. This is what it looked like the day I got it. It had a 3 inch body lift, newer style Chevy rims and some window tint. But everything else basically stock

One of the first mods I started out with was a good ole cb. I took the old cb from my previous truck and a magnetic antenna a buddy gave me and slapped in on. Not sure I like the location but it’ll do for now

After a few weeks of riding around with a ghetto rigged radio and no speakers I finally bought a Walmart 20$ radio and some speakers. Wiring it all together and running new speaker wire was a PITA but eventually I got it. I only have the front two dash speakers wired. Gotta figure out how to do the ones in the rear column next

I had a few hours to kill so I attempted to clean up the headlights which to my surprise worked very well. But for some reason it didn’t work as well on the lower plastic. While I had the headlights off I went ahead and replaced the low beam bulbs with some slightly brighter ones with a hint of blue

My gf got me a curved 52 inch light bar and some pods. Not sure where I’m gonna put the pods just yet. I had to order some brackets for this style truck. They were like 80$! Sheesh.

One of the most important best mods I’ve done yet. Cup holders! For some reason this truck has zero cup holders anywhere. Well if you don’t count those in the glove box that are like a inch deep

Well my muffler and exhaust pipe connections kept coming loose and the clamps weren’t working so just decided to weld the pipes instead. And yes I know it looks like beginner welds but I am a beginner and it holds fine

Got some brand new rubbers for the ole truck. Got a rim and tire deal I couldn’t pass on. Plus I was runnin on balds. They are 35/12.50/15 Mickey Thompson Baja mtz on American racing atx 15x10 with a -44 offest (maybe -45 I cant remember) in my opinion I love the setup. It fills the wheels wells and gives it a sorta aggressive stance

The curses of ifs have finally caught up with me. Finally had to break down and buy new cv axles and replace those. Not to hard

Now I have to replace a lot of front end parts as they have worn out. I’m talking upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, upper control arms. And my lower right control arm may be bent. and probably more I can’t think of off the top of my end. Ugh where’s a Sas when ya need one. And not sure if you can see it but my sway bar is bent back a bit and puts the sway links at a odd position. Hmmm what a headache
