Is there any way that i can make the 4wd engage faster in my 92 1500? it has the np241 transfer case im pretty sure. It takes a little while to engage and it has to be moving for it to engage. Is there any way i can change something so that it can engage while sitting still? or would i have to swap a different transfer case into it?

Your transfer case does engage immediately. It's the front diff that needs movement to engage. The electric actuator or a cable lock will be faster. The only way to get it to instantly engage without moving is to permanently lock the front diff.
