    switch housing

You will need to find a retainer that has the bottom two spots open. Those are commonly found on the 97-98 1500 trucks. The 97-98 1500 trucks had the provision for a cargo switch and an airbag switch. The airbag switch and fog light switch interchange in the retainer the same. Below is a pic...

    95 with the 6.5l Detroit

There’s a lot of things you need to look at on that motor before committing to buying it. Most of them were abused with lack of oil changes and basic maintenance (injectors, glow plugs, etc). Good news is, if the block is the original 95 block, that’s one of the better castings. Late 96-97...

looking for the Tape that separates two tone.

Agreed. But each and every panel also had their own respective part numbers as well. Made it fun.

looking for the Tape that separates two tone.

Wish I’d seen this thread a while ago. There’s several different tape colors. The Phoenix graphics kits are ultimately the best option, short of looking for all the individual part numbers on eBay and hoping to get lucky. GM separated each and every body panel into a different part number...

    Hobbs 96 Z71 Build

Well. Life gets in the way. Finally getting around to getting back to giving the truck some attention. Step one - a decent wash. Step two - drive it some. Those are done and the truck is running well. Overall it fired right up once I had a good set of batteries in it.

    WTB: DRL OFF switch

These actually do come up, no where near as rare as the horizontal bezel and switch. Keep in mind the drl off switch technically i/ different than the fog switch. It killed the radio and the drl lights at the same time. Obviously no one wires them up that way.

BNielsen: diesel bumper light mount design for behind bumper??

Check out 88gmctruck build threads. He used a large piece of angle iron and the 88-89 quad housings. This would give you a glass option.

    Valance Mounted Fog Lights

I’ve read somewhere on this forum that someone felt they were quite a bit thinner than oem one. But unless you get lucky and coke across them, it’s about the only option. That said, lots of people run them based on the photos and posts I see.

    WTB: Horizontal Fog Switch

I’ve tried to have a few conversations with Mr bell. He is a complete tool. Prices are insane, and he’s not that knowledgeable. I finally completely blocked him. From speaking with others, I am not alone in that sentiment. That switch does come up from time to time, but the bezel is the...

    First Diesel 1998 C3500 6.5

If it’s going though coolant, you really need to look at your engine oil. You might be doing more harm than good if you have a head gasket issue.

    First Diesel 1998 C3500 6.5

I’ll agree and disagree. They are quite affordable, and with around 400ftlbs of torque, they can do quite a bit. Now that said, they don’t do anything quickly. But they can be found for a fraction of a price of the duramax trucks and other equivalents. Unfortunately, most people didn’t do...
