    This one has nothing for the top. I was wondering about that. It has a plate for a winch mount. I need some picks of how people have theirs mounted. I've never had, or dealt with one of these things before. Anybody want to snap a couple pics of how yours is mounted?

    I've been looking for a cheap, working NV4500 to throw into it. I only have $1150 tied up into it so far. Budget it so tight, my wallet never sees daylight.

    My bad. When I read gearbox, I thought trans for some reason. I'm needing both, so I'll keep this in mind when it comes time.

    Anyone know how to attach this? A friend just gave it to me. It doesn't have a brand name, or mark on it anywhere. I plan to clean it up, paint it, and put it on, but it doesn't have any hardware, except what shows in the picks.

    :banghead: How? When I look it up online, it says "part not available for online purchase". Plus the fact that it starts out at $1800. I'd almost kill to find a deal like you found.:banghead:

    I keep going back through your build, taking notes. I see so much that I want to do to my 3500 crew cab. Biggest differences are, mine isn't a duelly, mine isn't 4wd, and mine is white. Other than that, it is a 454 5spd. Mine just started out as a work truck.

    I was thinking about that. Even though I'm 6'2", I have short legs. I have trouble climbing in it as it sits.

    I got the wheels, with half way decent, matching tires, for $150. Can't complain, made a big difference in the way she looks.

    So far I have removed the broken tailgate, changed wheels, to these . No center caps as of yet. I'll post pics as soon as I can get to a computer where I can resize pics.
