    Often found on Commercial use/municipal use work trucks, where buyers didn’t purchase upgraded sound. I just found one myself took a year of looking. Got lucky it was even the same color as my dash.

    Crosscounts should not be zero O2 sensor should transition from about .2v to .8v back and forth on a regular basis. When graphed should almost look like a jagged sine wave. Yes cross count is each time it goes past .450v If it is doing this yet not reading Crosscounts perhaps problem with data...

    Starter grounds thru the housing- just be sure mounting surfaces are clean. You can voltage drop test starter ground with Voltmeter. One lead to battery negative the other to starter housing....should be .2V of less with the starter cranking. ( Takes two people to do this test. ) If greater...

    Do a Ground Voltage drop test from battery to Alternator; one lead on battery Neg other on alternator body, should be .2V or less, if higher check for dirty, loose or missing ground. Do a positive voltage drop test : output wire of Alternator to Positive battery terminal, again anything more...

    YEP, hard to find Scan Tools that work with OBD1....I am lucky, happened across a TECH ONE GM Scan Tool that was for sale, so I snatched it up!
