    Thanks 4 reply. OK. 12dgs bit much. It should run strong at 4 dgs. 6 is OK too. That yr motor has a couple of disconnects before u get to set timing. Also did u check for chain stretch. Anyway ,how's it run now?

    Sounds weird but it works. If it lights,power going to ground. I had problem similar was in drivers door wire channel .

    Ttry this. Disconnect negitive from battery. Put a test light between neg cable and neg post if light goes on u got a short somewhere .

    When its cold computer will advance timing aotomaticly , then when it warms up retards timing. . I would look there ,chain could b stretched maybe even a tooth missing. Sounds like u checked all other possibilitys . had a TBI myself once . check timing set up in your Chilton's or whatever book...
