I believe the driveshaft will need to be shortened. 80e is longer then the 60e. At least that's what I have figured on my 4x4. I could be wrong on the 2 wheel drive side.

Got a little carried away with some acetone.
Had to go back over it with some plastidip for the lights I don't have like abs and the shift light. Also had to put down some nail Polish for the ones I still need.
I also have gone through several sets of oil cooler lines. Will definitely be looking into getting this together. Power steering lines would be awesome to. I'm about to replace them again there.
From my understanding all the holes on the back line up. You may have to drill one or two holes though. Haven't done this myself. So someone that has should be able to confirm it for you.
Latex gloves to keep the oil from your skin off. Sand it pretty damn smooth. Do several light even coats with dry time in between. Not really sure what a brand new one come coated with. You may have to do a primer.
A guy could also work his way through a scrap yard. Granted it did take few trips and dismantling several front ends to find one complete and unbroken. Able to pick up all the bolts and everything need for 5 bucks.
That would be pretty sweet. At the moment don't even have a garage myself. I actually just sold my 66 short step to my little brother. Are you working on doing the front clip and bed with it?
