His breaks went out as he went to stop at a stop sign and flew through the intersection into a ditch at 60 mph. He got lucky and came out with a headache and a couple bruises.
A little update. I still haven't found any time to put the new dash in yet but changed some lights in the meantime. Still need a bundle of 3mm leds so I can change the color of my mirror switch and rear wiper switch.
I haven't got to the doors yet but I've been researching some ways to go about doing it. I was kinda thinking about using vinyl paint. For the fabric inserts around the door handle I'm going to recover them with some other fabric. Maybe something with a design. And for the carpet on the bottom...
So my dash was cracked when I got my tahoe and it's slowly been getting worse. My buddy totaled his sas 97 and his dash was in a lot better shape than mine. It took 4 hours but finally got it out but it was blue and I've always wanted a black interior so I'm painting all interior plastics black...
I heard that Extreme Suspensions in Texas bought out the Cepek lift and are still making them. Can anyone confirm this? Also I was wondering what the cost would be. Thanks!
I've never had any problems with anything rubbing the frame, only tires rubbing the bumper when I go over a bump while turning. I had to crank the torsion keys 3/4 cause all the way is a horrible ride.
