    best OBD1 scantool?? Misfire/backfire ? at cruising speeds 65-70

Not sure why on a cold start up it was falling on its face, but the issues at cruising speed might actually be the torque converter locking and unlocking also known as "torque converter shudder". My 95 with 246K had it and it sounds like what you are having at cruising speed.

    Supertruckers "Cherry"

Ha...I didn't even see that. I texted the kid when I first saw the ad and it was for 5k. I asked him where he came up with that mileage and told me that the guy I traded it to told him that so he must have changed the cluster.

I know.......I ended up trading it for a 95 4dr 2wd Yukon this summer. Then the guy sold it to this other guy then put/hacked that 454 in there. Here's the Yukon. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/cto/4816658826.html

    Snow Plows

The old style ones are still bolted on, usually have bumper brackets so the bumper is in front of the assembly. Most guys just left them on because it was such a pain in the ass to take them off and put them on. Leo plows usually had a bumper built onto them and are pretty heavy duty plows.

Parting: 1995 Regular Cab Silverado K3500

Yes, I'm still interested, Car Part lists the wiring harness between 200 and 300 bucks, and PCM's go for about 50. So if you come up with a fair price we can make a deal.

Parting: 1995 Regular Cab Silverado K3500

I might be interested in the engine wiring harness and the ECM if you are willing to part with that?

Is using a '94 dodge ram 2500 front axle a good idea?

It could be either a D44 or a D60 but its a driver side drop, you will either need a Ford with a passenger side drop or will have to swap out your transfer case.

    radio options

If you are doing an aftermarket deck I would check out crutchfield.com. Most of the time they include all the installation parts, wiring and instructions on how to remove the old equipment for free.

    sm465 transmission??????

If you want to get a guestimate on what your mileage would be and what its like with no overdrive just put your truck in drive for awhile and not use your overdrive. Chances are you wont like it.

    sm465 transmission??????

My old 89 came factory with a SM465. Its a pretty durable transmission but with no over drive your mileage will suffer. It is a good old fashioned truck transmission so it will be noisy, long throw and pretty simple.

    Wheels for a 4/6 drop?

They are the stock wheels the truck came with. Not sure why that site lists only 96 and up but car part lists the wheels back to 88

    Will these seats fit?

As long as you get the bases they will bolt right up. Might have to drill the holes on the floor for the inside seats bases.

It needs a good detailing. Ill eventually get the seats recovered in black leather and a set of black seat belts from LMC. Since I have billet wheels I might find some billet pieces to break up the black a little bit.

    Supertruckers "Cherry"

Got some work done, new black carpet, headliner recovered, dash and cab plastics painted. Scored some 98 door panels for 30 bucks. The inserts on the 95 panels are just glued on. In the process of fixing and painting the 98's. Also scored some Bonneville buckets for 40 bucks. Went from...
