Those were brand new 265 Cooper at’s back in 2013. ETA: I’ve got a single wheel sitting in my garage if I ever run across a good set again...

    Schurkey is saying the cats have to be in the factory location for it to be legal. That being said, the epa isn’t likely to come busting down your door for it.

    My 88 Scottsdale doesn’t seem to have any of those emissions codes Roadtrip posted on the 2nd page, however my 01 stepside does have YF5, and it has the dual air system with ports on both manifolds

    The only downside to those older boxes are the lack of depth and the not particularly tall top drawers. There’s a top box on KSL here in Utah for 100 dollars. I had a 40” single bank as my first work box when I was starting out in diesel mechanics.

    89 k1500 5.0 no start

    Check the ground for the ecm on the thermostat housing stud. If you cycle your key on and the check engine light doesn’t illuminate, you may not be getting a ground to/from the ecm. I had the same issue after having most of my harness disassembled in my truck for the last 10 years.

    I was going to suggest getting an ep381 from rock auto, but it appears they’re out of stock. I had to get a larger diameter fuel hose for the sending unit in my 88, as the feed line inlet in the tank was larger than the pump IIRC. MAKE SURE YOU USE SUBMERSIBLE FUEL INJECTION RATED HOSE
