We decided to take another step besides rebuilding the suspension and brakes. A 5"/6" drop is in the works. Western 2" dropped spindles with Western 3" dropped springs for the front and a Belltech flip kit for the rear. We will be using Belltech shocks as well front and rear.- Skidroadie

As you can see in the previous pictures the brake lines are being replaced with stainless steel versions, so no more worries about rust and corrosion. My son also rebuilt the rear drum brakes when he was replacing the brake lines.- Skidroadie

The plans are to get it sorted out with new brakes and suspension parts. Everything must be replaced as it has over 260,000 miles on the odometer. Looks like the brake lines are not so well.- Skidroadie

Hi folks! Bought my fourth GMT400, I've owned a 1990 Chevy K1500 RCRB 350/5 speed, 1998 GMC Z71 350/Auto ECStepside, 1999 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. This RCSB Chevy C1500 we picked up is a father/son project. As in my son is doing all the work while I'm away working the sandbox. Haha. It's 305/5 Speed...- Skidroadie
