14 bolt swap question
I bought a 14 bolt 9.5 semi float from a 87 Suburban squarebody. Had to reweld the shock tabs and spring perches, so you're already one step closer than I am.Mine was 8 lug. You have quite a series of factors that tie into the crankshaft position sensor, (CKP), Start with simple, check fuses under the hood. Then move to wires. Wouldn't surprise me if you got a bad ground, but also wouldn't surprise me if your ICM is faulty. I've bought a few duds in the 3-4 I've put...- ShadowRejects

Only unlock door with key, power door locks working?
Ill bet you your actuators are just weak. Mine was doing the same exact thing until a few weeks ago when I replace both lock actuators. Now they slide up and down fast enough to take a finger off if possible.- ShadowRejects

Upside down power window switch
The protruding side should face up, while the recessed side should face down. The switch itself is offset-pronged meaning it can't just be taken out and flipped upside down and re-installed unless the P/O was half-idiot and somehow managed to turn the harness as well and completely reinstall it...- ShadowRejects

sounds like similar issues as mine, when my ICM went poo-poo. It was maybe 3 months old. I had just replaced with a Borg Warner (IIRC) and it was good for a few months. New outside mirrors?
I got mine on ebay, then again mine are the NBS style tow meers. Ebay tends to have the cheapest prices IMO. Somtimes amazon. I've never really got into the LMC truck stuff. Just seemed overpriced imo.- ShadowRejects
