Just a little update. Got all the parts on order. Reusing most of my top end from the 350, including the intake manifolds. I already bought a new upper 2 months ago. Might as well lol.
I got the new MFI conversion. I bought the kit from oreillys, they carry them at almost every store...
My truck is a 98. It has the L31. So selling would be redundant. I'm not looking for advice on a swap. I already have that part down. Essentially I'm just replacing 350 engine guts with 400 guts and a bigger cam. If that makes more sense?
A 400 short block with a 350 top end.
I want to stay away from TBI, as stated. Never had good luck with the systems and I feel like power is left on the table. I'm running out of options though
That looks expensive, and too tall for my engine bay I would absolutely build a crossram intake for it if I had the resources, and run dual holley snipers. But I want to keep it simple and stock-ish looking
Hey guys! Building a mild 400, using vortec heads. Long block is squared away. I would like to stay fuel injection but I don't want to touch the sniper kits or fitech. What are my options for intakes besides the stock one?

Okay guys. I have a 97 suburban k1500. I'm about to replace the original transmission. 280k miles and 26 years of partying later it finally passed out for good. Woo-hoo! Long time for a 4L60-E. Anyways once it's replaced I'm gonna be saving up for a lift kit. I already know I want the 6" RCX...
