It sounds like the T-case is a non starter. The transmission does have the harness though.- ScottB

I realize not all forums are created equal but I am truly surprised by the lack of response to this. I have had seen much better responses to newbie questions on sister forums to this one. I guess that is just the way this one is.- ScottB

I'm hearing both, that is what concerns me. My current concerns are whether my speed sensor and 4WD actuator wiring will be compatible. I admit that my knowledge on the subject is slim. If it is a straight 1 to 1 swap I am ok with it. If things need to be rewired, then I may in over my head...- ScottB

My Burb's transmission (4L60e) took a dump and it needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I'm not a big fan of grabbing a second hand unit for this but I did come across a possible replacement. An 02 Tahoe ended up totaled a local shop stripped it out. The donor only had 60k on it. I'm being...- ScottB

As the title says, I came here from http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/ where I have a 77 C30 I play with. (Not as much as I'd like). Now I am here as I just bought a 97 GMC K1500 burb. Unfortunately, the burb blew the tranny and someone stole my username. :) At least I can fix the tranny...- ScottB
