I looked at the sticker in my glove box and it has NP1 and NP8 next to it. But when looking for parts it's either NP1 or NP8? I don't understand why, and which to get...

    So I have a 1998 gmc 1500 z71, stock. When I come to a stop, stop sign or light, and let off the brake to start going I get a slight clunk from the rear. Kind of feels like the brakes are still engaged for a second and then I get a clunk noise. It's not all the time it can go days with out...

    Cranking the keys to make the truck level, does this really put much strain on the front suspension/drivetrain? And what would be easier leveling keys or just cranking?

    The Member Truck Thread

    My 98 Sierra Z71, got it 2 years ago with 67k miles on it. Just hit 77k, love it. Only things changed is the headlights, turns signals, took stickers off and fender trim. Its my DD, so Im not sure what else im going to do to it.
