    So i got my 97 silverado 5.0 1500 running on this 96 silverado 5.7 1500 engine harness. But the transmission wont shift out of park when its running. i dont have 1st, 4th or torque lockup. And i have to maualy alternate between 2nd and 3rd because it wont upshift or downshift on its own. Anybody...

    Only difference in the c100 was that the tach wire was in a different spot. And there was something called an sir ground where it shoulda been. So i moved the tach wire to the correct spot. But not sure what tondo with the sir ground. Whats it for anyway?

    97 cab harness pin out

    Both my truck and the parts truck i pulled it from were both automatics. Only difference was the parts truck had push button 4wd. Amd the white connector behind the dash had two extra wires (red, purple). Had to wire the recieving end from my 97 to it. Didn't know what the two extra wires were...

    So im trying to put a 96 silverado 5.7 vortec harness on my 97 silverado 5.0 vortec and i ran into some issues at the c100..on my original bulkhead E1 is a small purple wire, im assuming crank fuse output?? Well on the 96 harness E1 is a big yellow wire. Anyone got diagrams for both years? Or...

    Im trying to put a 96 silverado 5.7 vortec engine harness on my 97 silverado. And E1 on the 96 bulkhead is a big yellow wire. Any idea what it is?? Asking because E1 on my original harness was small and purple.
