Thanks. I replaced the control unit since mine looked like someone tired to tear it apart. It didn't help but at least I know its not the problem. On to checking the plug.

FIXED!!!!!!!! Turns out the distributor was really crappy. The bushings were toast. That and a new set of wires and it's running good. Thanks everyone!
Well in other news...I started the truck up for a friend and while it was in park, I gradually moved the throttle and it stumbled like crazy and smelled really rich. It smoothed out once it got to higher rpms but it smelled really rich. ??????????????????????? And this is in park so the trans...
