water Leak in Cab

My windshield leaks like a son of a gun. Drips off the rear view mirror. Same thing. It's a stone chip that's rusted away ever so slightly right on top edge of the windshield seal.. I ran a big bead of clear silicone along the outer top seal of the windshield as an emergency roadside fix one...

Junkyard Center Caps

Got around to putting the rims on today, these center caps though.. They have little plastic stand-offs on the backside of them where it meets the rim. Is the center cap edge supposed to be touching the rim, or like an 1/8th away from it like it currently is ( because of these little stand-off...

I found the SS wheels on Kijiji this time last year for $150 with half decent tires on them.. One of the rims has a small ding or two, but thats ok because I just found two for sale for $50 about an hour from here

For the price they cleaned up real nice. I even found 15 out of the 20 lug's I need with the external threads... Only one little black plastic cap though haha

Junkyard Carpet for the '91

Thats awesome! I went through about 6 or 7 4x4 trucks and just held out for the 2WD.. luckily found just the one! I found about 5 or 6 2WD trucks with the blue vinyl floor in great shape.. but it was not what I wanted because thats what I ripped out when I put my new floor in.

I was thinking about it but I am cheap and figured this carpet with the mass backing would be more than an upgrade to my bedlined floors haha.. Can always slide it out in the future!

The carpet?! 20 bucks. All in all I got the carpet, overhead console, flip out cupholders, 4 GMC centercaps for my sport rims, two kick plates for under the doors as I broke mine.. and a few other odds and ends for $85

Figured I would let you guys know I fixed it.. Turns out the throttle body was literally floating. PO didn't tighten it up when he was in there... Trucks been great ever since
