Update: The fix has over a month on it & no more cruise problems. One of these days when there's nothing else to do (I'm sooo looking forward to that day!), I'll plug the old module back in to see if it's good. It probably is. Thanks again to all who jumped in on this, good stuff that I appreciate.

The second year for the water pumpers! Good project, I'm envious! My last one was the '81 yz250. Raced mostly 250 Yammer Hammers for about 15 yrs.

MOVIETVET That's an AWP Avoid When Possible. It was never ez & even more so since I had lumbar surgery two years ago & cervical surgery a couple months ago. I'm running out of places that bend. You've probably heard the saying "Gettin' old ain't for sissies".

Thanks Scott2093. Maybe that's the reason these switches have a bed rep. Just checked my wiring diagram & it shows yellow on B. I'll make a note on there to show the change & I'll look at my switch & see how it's wired. If it's wrong do I get a free switch/install...? The switch could be the...

By the way, the whole cruise head assembly set me back $17.63 including tax. Pick it yourself yard, Chase N Cars.

Sorry I dropped out for awhile. Too many normal things going on so very little time spent on the cruise, although I did grab a complete, junk, cruise head from a 94 Burb & a new brake switch to throw at it if I hit a dead end. I got back to it today. I replaced the cruise module with the new...

MOVIETVET Thanks for the welcome. Never had a lift except for auto mech in high school. Hated creeper time then & now. Was an IBM tech for many years. Have a high mechanical aptitude so got to work on all the old iron machines. Good job that fit me well.

Sean Buick 76 Pics? It's just an old work truck that does what it was meant to do plus a little more. I guess it's what some call an 8 lugger? I hadn't heard that description before. I'm guessing it's because of the 8 lug nuts for the HD wheels...? The truck isn't quite as clean as it was a...

Thanks for the suggestions. Using them here's the plan: All ground wires are on my punch list. I'm not overly concerned right now, but that could change depending upon the outcome of the "Downhill" problem after replacing the CC module. (It would be great to hear from someone who has had this...

Hey Tayto, I did replace the lever that you suggested. Unfortunately it didn't fix my most obvious problem. It could have fixed some of the intermittent problems though. Time will tell. I'm looking for a cruise control module plus the box it sits in. The box lid screws were corroded in, &...

@thinger2 Sorry, I forgot to answer your question about the headlights. They have no issues. I've recently replaced the old headlight enclosures & changed to LEDS. Also modified wiring so dims stay on when brights are on. What a difference! All is good there.

thinger2 Thanks for the welcome & for the ground tip. With the intermittent CC problems going on, I have considered bad grounds & have been meaning to give all the grounds some attention. I'd have never found that one. Relating only to the one solid failure I have, leads me to think that it's...

Found you guys while Google searching for "94 Silverado Cruise Problem " or something similar to that... memory is the second thing to go! In 2007 I accidently bought a 94 K2500 HD, 5.7, L80, 4x4, extended 2 dr & long wide. Nice clean truck in every way. Ran & drove great. But, I bought it off...
