Turns out this page has the molding strip to if you search lmc 31-1358, so thank you.
Bonus is that same page has the super large tailgate band "Chevrolet" emblem. Usually not a fan of extra badging and prefer the cleaner look as that band is pretty 90s, but for some reason I had always liked...
Awesome, thanks for that picture very helpful, so they are just snap in not glued or anything? Down in that seam is one of the very few places I have a touch of surface rust, so need to get them out to tackle it

Actually a great idea. I figured there had to be a YouTube video of the operation (there seems to be for everything on earth) but if one doesn't turn up I'll try the junkyard

Any disadvantage to that (other than more panels to repaint)? Weld filled in order body filler/Bondo? Looks clean, overall the paint on this truck is still stellar save a few spots so I've been happy to say it's original. Trying to keep the repaint to a minimum

Roof unfortunately needs to be repainted, paint most everywhere is still money. Anyone know how the filler strips in the seams/drip rails come out and if they are easy to break. My understanding is they are no longer available, but there in also some surface rust down in the seams that needs to...
Yup, intended to get them a few years back (cognito used to sell the idler pivot also) but truck ended up in storage for awhile. Starting some R&R now so I will get both.

Actually looking for this https://cognitomotorsports.com/i-30499340-supersteer-hd-idler-arm-support-and-gusset-kit-gm.html but for the 88-98 trucks they used to have it but it appears to be discontinued.
Disregard, appears supersteer actually is the brand...
For anyone that remembers, cognito had a beefy HD idler pivot assembly replacement way back when, but unfortunately it is not longer available.
Does anyone know of another aftermarket supplier of a beefed up HD pivot assembly as opposed to just doing a stock equivalent replacement?
Thanks...
