I have a 1988 chevy k1500 with a sm465 4 speed, been wondering how common are these trucks with that transmission and if I should possibly swap it out with something else in the future or keep it

Torsion bar reliability

This is an odd question, I'm new here so I don't know if there's a thread on this or not, just wondering if anyone has had problems with the torsion bars on their trucks and wear someone would buy new ones
