Q: Rear Wheel Cylinder Changes '93 C1500
So far, so good. They don't leak, or lock up, and the truck stops great. But in retrospect, I probably could've gone with the larger bore wheel cylinders. The truck came standard with the thicker HD rotors in front, and I ended up replacing the front calipers anyway with some new Raybestos units...- LA2SD

I know you said you followed the instructions, but did you flush the PSP before connecting any hoses? Regardless, I wouldn't trust a used PSP from a donor motor without testing it. I installed a blue top earlier this year when I rebuilt the front end on my 2WD OBS. Aside from the steering...- LA2SD

Did you replace the grommet when you replaced the PCV? Those things get hard after a while, and don't seal. Also check for cracks or hardness around the rubber boots for the vent tube that runs from the PCV to the TBI.- LA2SD

September - October 2019 Full circle back to post #16 and #17...doing the prep for intake manifold removal...used an egg carton to keep track of the intake manifold bolts... Old plugs...replaced these, the cap, rotor, and wires...- LA2SD

Since I was on a "roll", it also seemed like a good idea to inspect the fuel pump, which I should've replaced at this point, but didn't. It was working just fine before the truck sat for 6+ months...why would I need to replace it? Note the black fuel filter...lol- LA2SD

I couldn't wait for the correct hoses because I had to move the truck...so I made a tool to depress the proportioning valve for a proper bleed, and used a power bleeder...- LA2SD

August 2019 I couldn't get the drum off the driver's side because the shoes had wedged themselves against the drum. According to the shop manual, I could use a drift to hit the stopper on the parking brake lever...but that didn't work. What did work, was unbolting the slave cylinder, and...- LA2SD
