    Lowering kit question

    No need to remove the bed at all. You can get everything done necessary with it still on. If you do remove it you should replace the bed mounts...sending unit and paint any thing that can rust. I just finished my 5/8 drop on stock shocks without removing the bed

    Im still going to change them probably belltech street performance. It still rides pretty good but potholes and the 3 inch deep man hole covers here in the northeast suck.

    Just finished a 5/8 on my 91 and am running stock shocks and drives amazing im really surprised, only issue is with weight in the bed they max out

    Got my kit off djm and their rear shocks are staggered. Does it matter? Im 5/8 currently on all stock shocks and need rears, are extenders needed?

    Did you try summit or jegs? I work at a tire shop and install alot of those moto wheels and imho they look cheesy with the fake bolts around the bead of the rim.

    Cool thanks...this is my first FS, ive been building bagged s10s for a long time but this is my first static'd truck and living in the northeast sucks around town but highway should be fine.

    Looking to pick up my first obs 91 c1500 ext cab and looking to do a 5/7 drop on it. Quick question..does anyone have a measurment from the frame to the ground on this drop? There are some steep enterances into a few gas stations here and i dont wanna get stuck. Thanks
