    Vacuum Switch Solenoid

    I got the motor in my truck. It had a V6 all the wires are there except the one for the Vacuum Switch Solenoid( this is the one that bolts on top of the water neck). Is this needed? I went to the junk yard and some of the V8 had it and there were a lot that did not. Would I get a check engine...

    Na its a 2 wheel drive. I think I going to just Plug in the 94 PCM and see what happens. Talk to a trans shop today and they think it will be fine. We shall see

    ECM and wiring

    Hey all is it possible to use the ECM and engine wiring from a 94 c1500 in a 95 c1500? Will the air bag still work? And what about the ABS Are them separate from the engine ECM ? Little lost here I'm trying to put a 94 305 and trans into a 95 that had a 4.3. Any help would be great.

    I was thinking about that but what about the speedo? Don't the 700R4 use a cable for the speedo? Man I miss my 85 could change pretty much anything and it would work lol

    Let me start off by saying hello I have a 95 short bed that I bought with out a engine and trans. The guy told me that it was a v6 truck but he did run a 350 with TBI init.
