If you have a really good trans jack that can support the trans/tcase all at once, do that.
Otherwise remove tcase first. Then Remove trans and drop down and completely out of the way. Not enough room to just move it back to change the clutch
I'm not familiar with the location of the fitting on the 454s but it was really easy on the 350. Just tap that lisle tool posted above into the broken off fitting and it will turn right out.
I replaced mine with a 5/8" (??) hose barb to never have the issue again
I have 2 now in the corners near the tailgate and need to add 2 more at the front. They're plenty strong and a nice durable coating on them. They come with a big plate that mounts on the underside so you don't have to cobble together fender washers and stuff

Working on a SAS on a 97 k1500 and while I'm changing all the brakes I'm doing hydroboost too
Anyone take pics of their stock pedal modified?
Is there a precise amount to move the pushrod mount? Or just eyeball it where the pushrod is level once the hydroboost is installed?
thanks
I'm 100% for free and pirated material but having the hard copy books is the best. I'm not going to stop what I'm doing to go inside with greasy hands to look something up on the computer
I think the 3 book set of manuals was like $100 on eBay a few years ago when I bought mine
