    My 92 made a terrible sound after new shoes and drums so I had to replace the wheel cylinder because it had gone bad and wasn’t holding the shoes against the drum correctly.

    So that little light in the dash cluster that turns on when the parking brake is set? And turns off once the parking brake is taken off? In my silverado, it turns on once i hit exactly 60kmph (37mph). I'm assuming that's normally where you're able to turn on cruse control? Only my cruse control...

    Spot on with the bulbs. I don't know how unrelated it is though, the bulbs were replaced just two weeks ago. Only the second filament in two of the bulbs on the right side went out.

    I now believe the strain on the alternator has caused some small problems, the right blinker is ticking a lot faster than the left blinker. About twice as fast.

    Refurbished alternator about $85 after core charge now the guess meter stays between 12 and 14. I think that's another problem solved.
