Ahhh... I never suspected the ujoints.... Good catch on that one. I haven't ever replaced them since I've owned it and it's at about 258k. I'll definitely look into that one.

So if I did go with 285s, how far out would I wanna go with my flares? I'm too lazy to math the offset of my wheel to how much farther out they stick. Hahaha

Anybody know what the largest size tire you can run on a 98 k1500 without lifting it? I'm running factory size right now (245/75R16 I belive) and want a little more "aggressive" stance. I know I'm limited to tire height, but how wide can I go without tire rub?
