I don't think it will be on the shop's shoulders even though I think they should've noticed it as a potential issue and should've let me know about it. I bought the kit 5 months ago on eBay and put it on the shelf in my garage while I saved up the money for wheels & tires. Once I bought those...
Got a '99 Suburban (OBS) and have the RC 4" lift kit installed. I noticed a loud pop when backing out of my driveway the other day. After going back over everything, I noticed the upper control arm cam bolt washers are a very loose fit between the welded tabs that are meant to control their...
Does anyone know why the 89501 crossmember brackets are required for 4 door Yukons & Tahoes? I have a '99 Suburban and even though it doesn't specifically state my model needs them I was just curious if it was something I'll need, or is there something about those particular models that make it...
Got another CEL today. Got a "catalyst efficiency below threshold" code. Looks like I'll need to replace the cats if I want to get rid of that code for good.
I'll take the program out and drive it till the CEL comes back on then check it with the scanner. I didn't think that code sounded right. I'll update when I get more info.

Those are the original Goodyear MTR's. 37x12.50-16.5's can be found cheap due to the military removing them due to age, but the tread is usually around 50%-80% tread remaining. Check out 100 dollar tire man's web site:

I know it's a bit different, but the last BL I installed was on a '99 Wrangler, and I did it in my garage at home with only hand tools, a jack, and a pair of jack stands. The truck you have may be more (or less) involved, but all the same it shouldn't be a huge deal to tackle at home.
:hmm...
