Alright so it seems the OEM bushings are unavailable.
I want rubber and Ive heard mixed reviews on LMC mounts
Ive also rear tat you can adapt the new hydraulic mounts to the rear of the cab.
Are the rest of the mounts from the newer trucks usable as well?
Dorman makes a stock replacement...
While I agree with you the fact remains I cant get rid of this truck and I cant own two at the same time. So this is the path I am on.

I'm looking for feedback on my plan. I am not new to cars..but I am new to trucks. I know I may have sounded kind of set in my ways in my last post, but its really just a thought out plan that SEEMS good to me. Any opinions on my setup plan?
Here is my thought.
Suspension is easy to upgrade to handle the weight. I figure all new bushings with self leveling airbags outback. I will be running Bilstein shocks on all four corners. I'm hoping to find some like I have on my wanna be rally car..46mm piston.
Brakes. So I'm understanding I...
The bottom line is I want to make the truck safer to tow 8000lbs or so. I will be doing a 5.3/4l60e swap out of an 03 silverado. I plan on a 3.73 14bolt out of a newer tow package 1500.

Is there a way to do a brake upgrade in conjunction with the 6 lug swap while using junkyard/oem parts? Can the newer(nbs or newer) splindles be installed on the GMT400?
Are the 6 lugs the same bolt pattern as long as they are 6 bolt? Also What years did the lug setup come on?
I have alot more questions but I dont want to be that dumb guy askinmg questions because I know its annoying.. I'm new to this platform but I've been doing the car thing for awhile. I...
What kind of fuel mileage differences should I expect going from a 5.7/4l60e to a 5.3(LM7)/4l60e combo with no other changes to the truck? I currently get about 14mpg around town and 16-17 highway.
