What are my options for 6x9 speakers in an ext cab?
I just chucked some Kicker 4x6's in my dash, were about $80 Canadian, sound ok for the price. Edit.... didn't realize you were a 96. Disregard my post. But pretty much any manufacturer will have speakers in your budget. Look at Cruchfield, they have a great site that tells you what fits, and...- Drunkcanuk

I have "period correct" APC headlights on mine, circa 2002. They are reflector style and I put in very expensive for the time PIAA high beams....WOW!!!! That made a huge difference in my ability to see at night. Amazing how shockingly bad the factory lighting was on these trucks.- Drunkcanuk

It's supposed to be a Sierra ST, but it has a chrome grill, so I'm not 100% sure. One day I'll hit the dealership up and get them to run the VIN and tell me for certain. The original owner had the silver stripes painted on and pinstripes added just after he bought it. I used to see it running...- Drunkcanuk

I use GPS nav on my phone when in my Megacab. The speedo is off due to bigger tires, and me being to cheap and lazy to take it in and get it adjusted.- Drunkcanuk

Your O2 sensor should be upstream of the catalytic converter, or at least where it should be. So it shouldn't make a difference at all.- Drunkcanuk

Seems to be the way the world is trending....sadly. More money for less quality. About the only thing I've noticed is stuff like TV's and such, where you get more for less money than a decade ago. Like the deck and speakers I just grabbed were sub $300. The deck it replaced was over $300 20...- Drunkcanuk

Ya, the quality of plywood has taken such a dive in the last decade it's not even funny. Most big companies use D grade up here for general kind of projects on sites. Boxes, fillers, lath, block outs etc. And use form-ply for the forms if they aren't using some kind of system like Doka. Anyway...- Drunkcanuk

Ya the Baltic birch is awesome. Used it for a nice cabinet project in a refinery control room years ago. Nice using a router for dados, rabbits, grooves and rounding the edges and them not blowing chunks out. But Shell had a lot bigger budget than I do!!
