    Manual window locks to power

Ok, so anyone wondering, it worked got an inside panel out of a 94, and swapped it onto a manual door. Funny enough, the manual door rods actually were setup for a power actuator, so I didnt' have to swap the rods, I Just left them in. Put the new panel it, and it all lined up!

    Manual window locks to power

Hey guys 94 Yukon SLT. Originally power everything. Got in an accident. Driver side door was replaced with a manual window/locks door. All the wiring for power is still there. Is it just as simple as swapping the inside retaining panel, and throwing on my old door panel on? Do I need an...

    Issues only when hot

Had an issue. It was because my 97 was misfiring. The pcm didn't allow lockup. For me it was an EGR so I unplugged it, no misses, had lockup It may not be tranny related is what I'm saying. Do you have any active or stored codes? My truck was misfiring for a year but the cel only blinked twice...

E brake light staying on SOLVED

Hey guys, so I had this issue on my last truck (93). I ended up disconnecting the RWAL black box, and the e brake light turned off. I spent months looking for a functioning black box, couldn't find one, and gave up. So I got this new truck last year (94), took the cluster out, replaced a...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Ok guys. Time for an update For those of you who said it was tranny related, the reason I dismissed this was because it is impossible, in my mind, for a bad torque converter to cause a blinking check engine light I took the cap off, it was covered with corrosion, cleaned it up with a wire...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Oh dang that's an old pic and the only one I have!! I don't have a spark tester. Will ask my friend he may have one kicking around. As I said, the vehicle doesn't miss under load which makes me have a hard time believing it's spark related? Also, the only 'code' was the blinking check engine...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Good post. Very good post We did have a vac leak at the brake booster (last year). I sealed it with rtv. I fished around with propane the other day but didn't find anything. I used a small hose with one side to my ear and didn't find anything. I may check again. It kept dying when she put it in...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Compression test results was 7 were 190 +\-5 and one was around 205 How would I get a fuel pressure reading when it misfires? Also, wouldn't the fact that the misfire is load depending indicate it's air/fuel related? Also, my neighbor insists it's the intake gasket leaking coolant in.... how...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Opened the distributor up last year and the cap looked ok Also, would it make sense with the issues I'm having? Being load related? Going away under throttle? Also, why doesn't the computer store misfire codes??? Does anyone here have an instance where a bad intake manifold gasket lead to...

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

Let me know how it goes. Injector? Or injectors? I thought there was one. Also, I looked at the intake gaskets, it looks like if there was a coolant leak that it would go into the crankcase, not the intake system...... me confused

Misfire is turning my hair grey!!!! Damn you truck

97 Tahoe 2dr 5700/4l60e 315,000 kms Symptoms: - misfire consistently under LOW load (lightly pressing accelerator) - makes me suspect fueling, injector, fuel filter, pump, etc - goes away under high load or when accelerator pedal is completely left alone (coasting downhill or cruising uphill)...
