I also agree with the borla muffler! Me and a buddy have the exact set up with the 5.7 longtubes (he has a X pipe) I have a H pipe with a borla xs pro.. mine isnt installed completely yet but his sounds AMAZING.. no cats
I have power to the ckp sensor and ground to the vcm.
Im gonna pull the timing cover soon and investigate why the code keeps popping up even though its new
I gave up guy's..none of this worked...trucks just gonna sit till i do a motor swap
Ive put well over $1500 in this motor... I have to call it quits sometime.. It will get all the computer bs ripped off of it and carbed for another project.

A new coil is on its way. If this doesn't work ima seriously rage yank this 5.7 vortec out..sell it and do a 5.3-6.0 swap!!!
Nothing has helped at all..practically the whole ignition system has been replaced. Only got to drive it maybe 50 miles to park it..

Ok so here my issue... I bought this truck about 6 months ago and did extensive work to it including a stock motor swap..i drove it home from my friend's house and the driver side exhaust broke off at the down pipe. So I got it home and started to do some bolt ons that would make a custom tune...

3" blocks ad a leaf in the rear..3"keys for the front 305/40/22s 2" spacers in the rear 1.5" up front... after i get her back on the road high offset...
