Need help

Im leery about trying to run those dash speakers without an amp. Ive always understood that you can kill speakers faster being underpowered rather than over powered? I guess I need to shop for head units. So I think ill start with a quality head unit and 4x6 dash coaxials in the dash, and a...- davewest

Help with stereo system
I have a 90 regular cab chevy pickup. The factory setup is 4, 4x6 speakers front and rear. The head unit has been upgraded but Ill update that too. What i want is healthy bass and decent sound. 1990 RCSB wanders all over the road
Its a 4 wheel drive. Seems to pull around corners correctly. I will try to get out tomorrow and check things out. Thanks of the info.- davewest

1990 RCSB wanders all over the road
Ive got a 90 step side that wanders down the road. I replaced the intermediate shaft/rag joint with a used one in good shape. That took some slop out of the steering but it still seems to be all over the road. It takes constant corrections to keep it straight on the highway. The mechanic...- davewest
