Excellent, that would definitely make more sense as the other schematic seemed fine to me when I was checking. I'll verify power at both of the VCM pins involved to see whats going on. Thanks! :) Edit: Yes, I have jumped both switches at the same time.- cjmspartans

Under the hood, in the electrical center box, where the relay would typically live. If you were to look at the diagram on the relay, I am putting a wire between terminals 87 and 30, which turns the compressor on or off. Yes. I have tried running it with those switches bypassed, not bypassed...- cjmspartans

A/C fuse is good, has continuity and is rated for 10A. I have ~12V at the low pressure switch, and ~12V at the high pressure switch (on the harness connector). I put a jumper wire on the harness at both the low pressure switch as well as the high pressure switch, with no success. I've done it with only the low pressure switch connector jumped, then the high, then both. Only way I can get the compressor to turn on is by jumping it at the relay. I added...- cjmspartans

You're right -- I messed up on that measurement conversion. So, sounds like I need to keep going then. Any idea at what point the compressor should begin to engage on its own without me having to bypass the relay?- cjmspartans

I haven't worked on it yet, unfortunately. It has been a busy week for me. Based on the diagram and the damage I found on the drivers side barn door, I am inclined to say the defogger grid is at fault but I won't know until I start poking around.- cjmspartans

I did clean those connections before I turned on the defogger. When I opened the doors yesterday and looked at the contacts, I noticed that the plastic around the bottom contact was melted. Passenger side was a-okay.- cjmspartans

Hello everyone! I've got a bit of an issue that has me scratching my head. My 97' K2500 Burb blew the 30A "RR DEFOG" fuse under the hood, so I've been without the rear defogger for a few months.
