screws for roof mounting
how long of screws are safe to use for mounting something to the roof inside the cab? I wants to mount my cb radio and all i have are 3/4" self tappers- ChRoNo16

97 Chevy C1500 Silverado Single Cab Speakers
From experience, I find the KS have a better more full sound, the CS arent bad but for me, if im doing it I want to do it once for quality sound and be done with it, too much disassembly- ChRoNo16

HVAC No Airflow
When I was working on mine, i also used some WD40 on each of the spots that looked like they were originally lubed to free them, worked wonders it will help to start with that, and when we did lube them we just kept changing the mode so they would move and lube themselves free- ChRoNo16

Speaker baffles are never a bad idea, simply they will enclose the back side of the speaker so the sound doesnt just bounce around inside the metal panels of the door.- ChRoNo16

HVAC No Airflow
Previous owner had replaced the blower motor.. I remember him telling me when I bought it, that the heat did not work. Today- Dad and I were out with the scope camera verifying that every door opens and closes (and they were, just fine) Turns out.. Previous owner had wired the blower motor...- ChRoNo16

1997 K1500 Extended cab 4x4 So the issue I am having is that there is no air coming out from any vents, I have removed the Fan, used air to blow out all the areas i could reach, opened the bottom of the box to check for mouse nests, Why is the air not moving from the blower fan to the vents...- ChRoNo16

Hood release Cable
no, this isnt the having to bump the hood to open it, the outer plastic of the cable is broken up front by the radiator support, I lubed the latch, ill lube it again once I get it open. I got a cable to replace it, just wasnt sure if it needed to be "secured" along the fender. Since I am...- ChRoNo16
