    Rotors and brakes opinions

    I totally understand trying to cut back cost however, safety is first. Can you bring the rotors down to a machine shop and see if they are able to turn them? If so turn them get lifetime pads then later on get new rotors and have the pads warrantee replaced.

    The lovely exhaust rattle is from a cheap Flowmaster muffler copy that has come apart inside and the Inlet is cracked. Time to replace that muffler and crappy tailpipes lol

    I have switched from interior work to mechanical items. While driving I can hear exhaust rattles and when driving an audible clanking sound can be heard. Upon further inspection I found the passenger side shock absorber is missing a bushing at the control arm so new shocks it is!!!!

    I absolutely love this truck, it has been well used slightly abused and neglected with 290k on the clock. Granted she was purchased as a fleet model Cheyenne she deserves respect.

    You guys are awesome.. My control arms are in need of replacement so getting a set up from DJM was the idea and adding 2" drop springs for a total 4" drop sort of kills 2 birds with 1 stone. The other idea would be 2" spindles and 2" springs then of course still need new upper and lower control...

    How does it drive? Have you converted your 1 wire o2 sensor to a heated o2 sensor? It's easy to do and really helps.

    2002 s10 4.3 4L60e, 8.5" rear, cervini ram air hood, C5 wheels, dual electric fans. I purchased a 1996 Cheyenne to drive while the s10 is getting a 6.0 4L80e set up.

    Last week I ordered a new steering shaft for my s10 (Jeep Cherokee model) and as soon as the box arrived I knew I ordered the wrong unit. Funny part is that the unit I actually ordered fits my new fullsize with a little fabrication. Sad part is the s10 has to wait.....
