383 Stroker No Oil To Most Rockers

What are you using to prime? Without a collar on the shaft your not going to get oil across both sides. Buy a priming tool or a cut down dist leaving the grooved collar at the bottom of the shaft.

What did Santa bring you for your OBS

Been with my wife for 20years now and this is the first car part she has ever bought me....she mostly looks the other way when I buy stuff, she has been pretty understanding over the years when I buy and sell/trade cars, like 20+ in the last 3-4 years, but was real clear that if the truck goes...

Me too lol, the middle of the truck is goimg baby blue, then will do some lace panel's with darker metal flake blue like the wheel....the wheel itself is dirt cheap as far as aftermarket wheels go. Was really surprised....and its gorgeous in person... Very excited!

I know nothing, so how does this look?

And that's the other thing I'm curious about, i keep reading about trimming the lips or rolling the fenders at this ride height, I know I have a pile of negative camber currently, but I have maybe 3-4" from the sidewall of my tire to the fender lip. I have no clue what the wheels are off of...

I know nothing, so how does this look?

No no, you guys have shown me that, and I have read enough not to mix and match. I using stock lowers, 2" spindles and the coils that are in it already which are cut to about 4-5" so I should end up around 6-7" static. If if have to notch for tie rods then so be it lol. I know at that point I...

I know nothing, so how does this look?

Got my lowers from a local wrecker, $50 each but someone just did new ball joints and bushings so thats a plus. Will get them trimmed and then painted and cleaned up. Now right after Christmas will get spindles ordered, was hoping to buy DJM's locally through keystone but they are no longer sold...

I know nothing, so how does this look?

Thanks for all the help Bill, ordering arms right after Christmas, and will call around the wreckers and see what's out there for lowers. Now I can worry about simpler sht like fixing my box sides and getting paint scheme figured out.

I know nothing, so how does this look?

So this (me) got dumb fast lol, will be ordering djm spindles, will grab stock lower arms at the wrecker, leave my coils alone. From all the measumemts I can find online it looks like I'm at a 8-9 drop up front currently, 4 from the home made arms, 4 from the coils. Stock lca with my current...

I know nothing, so how does this look?

Hmm, didn't think of that. The PO says these are about a 4" drop with these arms, so if I bought 2" lowering arms, that should give me back my 2", but then of course these coils won't likely work, as they are cut a bunch, like 2.5 coils a bunch lol. So given the spring pockets are lower in the...

I know nothing, so how does this look?

Or....do I leave the neato home made lower arms, and just replace my heavily cut coils? And just cut to where I want to be leaving enough room for tie rod clearance without notching... cheapest, easiest, assuming they are made well. Just as safe as anything else.... make sense?

I know nothing, so how does this look?

Well after spending some more time under the truck, I think I'm goimg to go a different route then what's currently there. I have zero interest in notching the frame for tie rod clearance so how low can I get away with without having to go there? The current ride height is a measured 1.25"...
