my 60/40 has a center that folds down. its in near perfect shape. only took it out cause i replaced it w/ leather buckets. heck i even have the back seat too if your interested lol. took that out for a sub box.
i have my electric fan on a switch and its also wired up to come on any time the ac compressor kicks on. just used a couple of relays to make it happen. and the switch automatically resets when the key is off. so im able to get in the truck and let it do a proper warm up then kick the fan on.
did ya ever find out if the injector started firing again? that would be my first thing to mess with clean and or replace. might check if that injector is getting any signal to fire at all. coulda been a hungry mouse that left a wire frayed enough to connect and disconnect w/ vibration...
yeah i kinda figured it would be a simple conversion. i'm just curious if the trans will suffer longevity from not being able to reach warm up quicker from the engine coolant temps or does it matter? and will it run cooler with the cooler being external?
not sure if this has been covered or not. but couldn't find a good thread on it. been looking at buying an aluminum welded radiator. (tired of the plastic tanks on the side cracking and leaking) only problem is the ones that fit that have the atf cooler inside are ridiculously expensive. curious...
