    6.5 Detroit to ls swap

Hey Greg, You would need to convert the fuel system(obviously), maybe fabricate or buy some conversion mounts(not sure if the 6.5 used the same SBC mounts). You might need to get a different bellhousing and would definitely need a new clutch and some adapter voodoo to make them work together...

    Traction control problems

Leaf spring clamps are cheap and work well enough for traction and avoiding wheel hope Get stickier tires https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/60883/10002/-1?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiMrxjKCG5wIVmpOzCh3_ZAu0EAkYDiABEgLjbPD_BwE

    What electric fan setup?

Been running these for 9 years or so. Still work like a dream, pretty loud because they are straight blade though. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/52115/10002/-1

    1989 C2500 Build "White Lightning"

Been a while since the last update so here it goes. Spent the summer cruising in it, abusing it and just enjoying it. It gave me some trouble with the HEI as the ignition module failed, another 40 dollar distributor and back in business. Its up on stands right now in the garage for the winter...

    Brake Replacement

Agreed with Stud. RockAuto is great, they do have some Canadian vendors on their site for some parts too.

Ha, it is a unicorn, the synchros are silent in this thing. It gets new GM fluid twice a year though. I swear that’s what keeps it alive haha

Correct, they are only on the rear axle. https://www.willtheyfit.com/ This website is my bible for making things fit. Give it a try and see what will fit.

    1989 C2500 Build "White Lightning"

Got the newer line lock installed and tested it. It works great at holding the truck back during burnouts. :naughty: Tightened up my steering box a bit too, which really helped take the slop out of the truck's steering. Ran my truck at the track and ran a personal best of 13.1 at 104...
