454ss tranny problems?

it wont shift up till a high speed without the modulator plugged in, or blown. is the fluid low, or burnt?

i dont know which setup the 91 has. i think most of them had cast aluminum accessory brackets. check your drivers side, and if you see a bolt in the head that you cant get without removing the powersteering pump then you need to remove the powersteering pump.

have you checked your valve lash? if a valve is incorrectly sat you wont get the right amount of air(thus reducing compression), and youll hear a tapping noise. remember to use 2 wrenches to remove the fuel fittings on the back of the throttleblody. the valve cover bolts are 3/8, the...

700R4 to 4L60E swap

alright, so i have a 92 C1500 silverado with a TBI 350 and a 700 R4. the trans has seen better days, so were going to replace it. i got a recently rebuilt 4L60E with the wiring harness and PCM from a 94 Cheyenne to put in the 92. the PO of the 94 put a new trans in it, then locked the motor...
