Yeah I can give some measurements, I'm still running them on the truck and there working good. I've even towed my camper with them on going down gravel roads. Il send a post sometime this weekend
Il start off saying i know that k1500 are not really ment for slide in campers. But has anyone ever done it? Ive really been wanting to get a camperette but im unsure about it. My truck is has a 14 bolt sf so im not to worried about the axel.
If anyone plans to try and make there own il be glad to get measurements and give anyinfo on what ive done. My truck has a 6" zone lift so i cant say if it will work for smaller or bigger lifts but id be glad to answer questions if you guys have some.
Sorry guys, but looks like i wont be making any sets. Too much liability and my work just isnt okay with getting that much free use out of the waterjet.
I have just installed an overhead console from a suburban in my truck. I wanted to get some guages and ive seen an insert for the overhead console. Was wondering if anyone knows where to get one?
Probably 4340 or 4140 it's a 1 3/4" bar so pretty beefy. I'm pretty busy with work this week so not sure when Il get to calling a metal supplier about anything. Also going to have to talk the company owner about water jet use. Don't think there so fond of employees making money like that if...
And as a regard for finishing I could media blast/paint/powder coat(have a personal one)/commercial powder coat. Let's start a discussion about it what people want.
Just letting everyone know that camping trip with the t bar relocators was good. Was ripping down some pretty rough roads, didn't move a bit. Not concerned the slightest about its durability for what I use it for.
