Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Headunits

Has anyone installed an android auto or apple CarPlay capable head-unit? They're becoming more affordable and I would definitely be interested in having some modern tech in my '96.

Need help figuring out why my maplights won’t work after I installed a stock overhead console.

What I did was hook up power from the rear dome light (which is orange I believe) to the console. Then I grounded the console to the roof. And the lights turn on fine now.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I was hoping someone could help me out. So basically I need to ground the ground wire from the map lights to the body of the truck?

I have a 96 c1500 with a bed cover. The cargo lamp switch convenient on the dash but is pretty much useless since the cover blocks the light. I want to install some LED bed lights because its a pain to unload groceries, bags or whatever at night. I really like the idea of the lights but I don't...

Why don't my turn signals alternate between the side marker and the parking light?

I noticed that when I use my turn signal all three bulbs (2 for the forward facing parking light and 1 for the corner/side marker) flash at the same time. Every other truck Ive seen alternates between the two with one flashing first then the other. Does any one know why this is? I linked a video...

I am having some play/wobble on my column shifter and the lever will not go all the way down to 1.
