It was a little prettier back in the day. It was fun and i dont really regret it. Smoked a lot of rice grinders... Its just been neglected and parked for abt 7 years now. Its gonna take sacrifice, but im gonna resurrect it to better than ever.

Good stuff man! I checked out the first 4 pages, and the last 5. Way to stay after it! Nothing to be ashamed of. True work of blood, sweat and tears. Looks good, be proud. I only hope to put that kinda time and money into mine.

Amid my stumbling and post hijacking, i must agree. Cyclones and typhoons were/are sadly overlooked. Sweet rides. My 95 5.7 has bowed down to a few. I hung around for the bottom end lol.

Guys, i cant figure out how to post a link to a CL ad, and i cant make a new thread cuz im a newbie. But theres a decent, usable, chrome chevy grille on AKRON CANTON CRAIGSLIST. Just look up 88-98 gm truck and it comes up. Brand new, slight issues, but usable. 50 bucks. Ill keep tryin to fig out...

There it sits sad and lonely. Idk y the grille hasa rainbow look lol. Must be my phone. Anyway, the journey to tearing down and rebuilding to lifted begins. Ill try to post pics of the heyday. It wasnt always so gross. I wanna go back to gmc grille. Maybe cowl or stock hood. Full off road trim...

I guess those examples do have a mild beadlock style lip. Im liking these black rims.

Im lightyears away from even buying rims and tires, but in NE Ohio, it seems like the trick thing to do with any lift is a ridic high offset rim, big diameter, to get a "skated" look. I think i like a beadlock or fake beadlock look, big offset. Has this ship sailed? Or hasnt caught on?

Mine is lowered 2-4, cant wait to lift it! No way can lifted ride any worse than lowered with low profile tires. Not to mention the geometry/angle of the rear shocks when lowered renders them just about useless. I couldnt keep shocks under mine. Just cheap o "toxic shocks" but they shouldnt...
