    92 4.3 swap questions

I've searched the forum and can't find what I'm looking for so hopefully I can get some straight and clear answers here. I have a 92 2wd w/t with the 4.3 tbi and nv3500, the 4.3 is probably 2/3 months away from going back to its creator so I'm trying to plan out a swap to be ready. What's the...

Upgrading Audio in the 95 Burb

Do you use the speaker harness adapters or just cut and splice?

Upgrading Audio in the 95 Burb

Based on what df2x4 was saying I was actually thinking of just leaving the rear doors alone and only upgrading the front and rear roof, but you do bring up a good point about the Sundowns. These really have some ass to em, each speaker weighs about 40lbs and they hit HARD.

When replacing your speakers, did you buy the adapter for the speaker wires or just cut and splice?

Upgrading Audio in the 95 Burb

Looking at the CV 4x10s as well as Planet Audio, how's the low end response? Don't need much because I'm running Sundowns with them, but still would like em to be decent on their own

Upgrading Audio in the 95 Burb

Thanks for that info. When looking for the harness I saw there's also an 1859 that's the same plug but comes with a separate one as well with a single red wire for AMP, I noticed you mentioned factory amp would I possibly need that one?

Getting started on working to fixing my new Burb into what I want, now that my brake issue is fixed. 1995 Suburban SLE Southern Comfort Conversion, I tried looking online but I'm getting different sizes for the front and rear door speakers, what size are they exactly? Which exact radio harness...

Having an issue with my brakes all of a sudden, help would be nice

I don't think its the switch now, turns out I don't have a brake lamp relay or stop/haz fuse installed in the fuse box, but there aren't even contact pins for them in the box ...

Having an issue with my brakes all of a sudden, help would be nice

Update to my no brake light issue, checking the under good fuze box I noticed I don't have a brake lamp relay NOR Stop/Hazard fuse (guess that's why no hazards), but they also don't even have the contacts to plug into in the fuse box..... I'm lost now.

Having an issue with my brakes all of a sudden, help would be nice

Need some help guys: Have a 95 Burb and yesterday when I was leaving out for work I noticed the brakes were soft all of a sudden. They don't go straight to the floor, but that firm wall you feel when hitting the brake initially is gone, doesn't build firm pressure until maybe the last 2-3...

Either roll on bed lining or using flexseal as a bedliner, not sure yet. Caulk, expanding foam, and insulation up next for the camper

    Camper top question

Wasn't sure where to put this our ass this so I think it goes here, but will a camper top from an '84 Chevy fit a '95? '95? The dimensions are nearly identical, it just shows that the 84 is 2 in wider, but I'm thinking that shouldn't make too much of a big difference or deal.
