    Will black bear tuning pass smog in california? Im doing a l31 383 build with a zz4 cam or lt4 hot cam. .30 bore throttle body and intake manifoild spacer. Doing the exaust and headers next.

    My oil pressure does the same type of thing. When I start my engine it jumps up to almost 80 I have to let it warm up to halfway in order for it to be able to go to a normal temperature. When I know it's the oil pump. But all these from 96 to 99 do the same type of thing as what's happening to you

    I have a 98 vortec going into a 97 Silverado I plan on sending it to the machine shop to get bored over .30 and have it cleaned up. Porting the heads. Upgrading the oil pump and timing chain also new bearings. What else can i do and keep it smog legal? I also plan on upgrading the spider...

    I do have the 4l60e. I had to rebuild it about 20000 miles ago. I had them install the stage 2 rebuild kit. Should handle almost anything I do to the motor now. I do have an 4l80e 4wd that came with the parts truck I bought I can always convert it If needed be.
