Well yesterday was the day…..paint work has officially started!!! Buddy sent me some Snapchats of the work while he was in the spray booth so excuse the emojis lol. I don’t have a tailgate photo, but he welded up all of the screw holes from the plastic bedliner that was attached. Should clean...

There’s a lot of history with this truck. When it gets painted I’m going with red and no two tone. It’s going to be getting lifted when it’s all said and done. If it was going to stay factory height I would have left the two tone, but it’s time to change things for the better.

He started spraying the rocker guard today also. I wasn’t going to have it done, but eventually I’ll be running a mud tire and really don’t want my fresh paint getting peppered with stones. Seeing some color really got me excited, even if it’s just the base color. He said once this cures, you...

Well the truck is finally one solid color…it’s in primer!! One step closer…. Don’t mind the panel gaps lol. Doors are just lightly bolted on and everything else is just sitting there. Honestly I’m really excited to see how the doors sit with the new Cunningham Machine parts I ordered :p

I had a couple Snapchat updates sent to me last night. My buddy worked on Saturday so he could get the rear window pulled before he lays down some primer. He was able to finally get the roof sanded down too. I know I keep saying it, but primer should be coming soon. They’ve been getting swamped...

Stopped over at the shop today to take a look at the truck and drop off my new grille. You guys have already saw photos like this, but maybe not from this angle. Seeing it in person today just makes me that much more excited for the final result :) He also welded up the pinholes inside the...

Seeing as it’s only dust, I’m not too concerned. I stopped in today to take a look at the truck and he must have been reading my mind because he apologized about the interior. Looking back I would have preferred a blanket or something over the seats, but at the end of the day it can all be...

2001 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Daily Driver Build

I always debated on buying another one for a daily, but always needed for room. I had an ‘01 ZR2 that I bought in 2003 and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I sold it back in 2006.

Sounds like all of the body work is done for the most part. The roof was completely void of any clear coat so he’s going to work on that, but sounds like he wants to have it in primer in the next week or so. I’m going to have a hell of a detail to do on the interior when it’s finished :p

I was able to pick this up off Amazon last week and finally got to throw it on today….Gator ETX roll up tonneau cover. So much better IMO

There was some body damage on the passenger bedside of the bed I picked up in Alabama. Luckily it was able to be fixed with a very light coat of filler to finish it up.

The paint shop has been swamped with work so I just got a few more photos sent today. Should be getting some more tomorrow too.

    2006 Silverado Daily Driver

Planning on taking the wife up to Glen Arbor this weekend for her birthday & our anniversary so I gave the truck a fresh oil change. It was very much needed  Also gave it a quick 4 hour detail this afternoon and got some of the tar on the rockers and wheel wells removed. She’s cleaning up...

Usually the first thing I do these days is purchase Weathertechs to save my carpet. The interior in this truck is close to immaculate so I want to keep it that way. I’ll buy the rear mat at a later date since no one really sits in the back seat except the kids.
