Nope. The brakes work, but not the parking brake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gmt400 K1500 rear disc conversion w/ master cylinder upgrade

The issue I am having is that the sleeve of the parking break cable is about 7 inches too short. The internal cable length will work, but the sleeve is too short. It’s too short because the bracket relocated the connection about 6-7 inches back from where it would connect to the back in plate of...

gmt400 K1500 rear disc conversion w/ master cylinder upgrade

I bought the same setup you are talking about and am thrilled with the performance. Only issue I have run into is getting a parking brake cable the proper length to work with the parking brake version I got from littleshopmfg. It seems like I am going to have to get creative. I have the gmt800...

SSBC or Little Shop Manuf. rear disc brake conversion?

how did you like the kit from Little MFG? I am thinking of getting the kit too, but am pretty sure you would need a propotioning valve or a new master cyclinder to get the correct pressure to front and backs when braking. Did you need to do anything to your brake lines?

fog and cargo light switch repair

I ordered up some neo-3 from superbright LED's and had to disassemble both the part and the LED and make it work with some soldering. The switches come apart, just be careful not to break them (I practiced on some of my crappier spares first). You can take apart the LED's easy enough. I found...

    LEDs in switches

I just did mine with some neo3/4's from SBL and they look just like the others I've seen. The light is better, but not like newer model trucks. That is looking straight down at the panel of switches, but from the leaning back position in the driver's seat it's not as impressive. Sent from...

    LEDs in switches

Try rotating them 180 degrees, LEDs have a polarity to them. I also checked all mine with a 9volt battery and some wire. I do have power mirrors, but have not had luck getting those to work, that project might have to wait until I can order some more LEDs and try it again. Sent from my iPhone...

    LEDs in switches

Here is a picture i took of the rear hatch switch so i could have a reference when i solder it. This is the part opened up, and you can see the LED leads are just wrapped around the leads on the switch. (Just an FYI, this picture was taken when the led was on backwards, i had to turn it 180...

    LEDs in switches

Door buttons do not need to be soldered for my truck, a 97 Tahoe. I did take apart the neo3's and neo4's so I could put them on the old twist locks (the new ones from SBL were too weak). I will solder the leads in the rear hatch button to make it more secure, and the old leads were soldered in...

    Center console end cap

I grabbed a tan console from a u-pull-it. I don't mind what color the cover is since you do not really see it at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Noise from front end

Thanks fellas. Praise the lord is something easy to fix. My buddy and I fixed the leaking seal and sanded some of the edges of the pad and the noise disappeared for about 100 miles. I'll have to jack up the truck and sand down the sides of the pads this week.
