What a bout making a custom tent to fit your truck bed? You're pretty creative. But don't know if time is on your side. Google search shows some decent ideas.

    Good Scanner to Use??

TunerPro RT will, in fact, read codes... I bought my cable from OBD Diagnostics. https://obd2allinone.com/aldl.asp

89 RCLB K1500 - Quality time with my son building his first truck.

Thanks. I want to use these on my '89 K1500 GMC RCLB. I'll be watching to see if you have to do any grinding on the stops due to reduced turning radius like I've read in other posts.

Are those Astro van LCA's? Truck is coming together very nicely. The attention to detail is fantastic! Looking forward to seeing it back together.

What front license plate does everyone run?

I would run something similar to this if it weren't for our state law.

What front license plate does everyone run?

Same...in Colorado the law requires us to run an actual license plate. Been pulled over for not having one but cop was cool and just gave me a warning.

1993 Yukon crate motor hydraulic roller lifter cleaning and adjustment journey - (Solved)

While you've got it all apart (again ), thoroughly clean and inspect the pushrods, if you haven't already, to ensure they can deliver oil properly to the rockers. (Sorry if you've done this and I missed it). Edit: Check them for flatness as well using a piece of glass to roll them on.
