Arizona differential Specialists shortened the diff 5 inches on each side and removed all the old mounting brackets cost $660 with Moser axles. I used a Tahoe diff because i was already 6 lug swapped but wanted disc brakes and it has 13" rotors with dual piston calipers. I part out tons of 99-06...
I bought the 3 link kit through All Star Customs it cost $1100 with shipping and the coilover kit was $500 from Summit then we did all the welding in house saved big there
Thanks for that! I've realized that I'm gonna need to tub the front as well. Im rubbing on hard bumps already and i plan on doing coil overs on the front so its a must.
I think it all depends on how low you want the truck to sit ive seen stepside trucks in my area lay pretty low without cutting up the bed. I recommend checking out All Star Customs on Instagram for your 4 link, i just did a 3 link on mine and couldnt be happier with the quality parts I recieved...
The cap is from a 2007 new body style Silverado it fits nicely i just have 3m double sided tape on the inside I didn't drill any holes in the front. I'l get you some pics tomorrow when im back at the truck.
Spode the newer style HD hood on the gmt400 is custom. You've gotta cut the 07+ hood and weld and bondo it on the factory hood. Out here in AZ they usually sell around $700 done
Thanks J Cas, right now in the front its just dropped springs and bilstein shocks but QA1 offers a bolt in coilover replacement ill be going with in the near future. I need another inch lower in the front to be satisfied lol but I would definitey go with the 3 link kit from All Star Customs it...
Thanks, yes it clears nicely and sounds really aggressive. Ill have to put some more miles on em before i can say I love it. I did see your set up as well looks nice and tucked over that tailshaft definitely something to remember for future reference on dropped trucks
